The Site
michaelkelly.org is the evolved form of what was first jedimike.hypermart.net, then jedimike.net.
Its original purpose was to house various Perl scripts I had written (which now embarrass me terribly and have quietly disappeared). Various other pages sprouted up, mostly random rants and pontifications. Eventually I added a blog, which was on the main page for several years.
The site is happily hosted on TextDrive. Pages are dynamically generated from templates using a few bare-bones Ruby scripts.
Me
I am Michael Kelly, as you can probably guess. I live in San Diego, CA, where I graduated from high school (yeah, that link makes my school look weird; it is weird) in 2004. I'm currently attending UCSD as a Computer Science major. I use Linux, MacOS X, and occasionally Windows (as of whenever I last updated it, my linux desktop something like this). I'm an INTJ. On a two-axis political chart, I lean heavily towards the Left and Libertarianism (paradoxical as it may seem). Last time I took the Nerdity Test, I scored about 45%.
